FULTON, NY – Wayne A. Truax Sr., 68, of Palermo, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, February 20, 2016.
He was born on April 5, 1947, in Oswego, a son to the late Aaron and Emma Pomeroy Truax.
Wayne retired from Nestle Company after 35 years of service.
He will be greatly missed and forever loved by his wife of 45 years, Terry; three children, Wayne Jr. (Marie) of Cicero, David of Dumfries, Va., and Julie Weaver of Hannibal; eight grandchildren, Ashley, Lily, Tristan, Sophie, Nick, Brianna, Zachary and Adrianna; one sister, Linda Gainer of Syracuse; two faithful and loyal companions, Dopey and Sparkey; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held on Thursday, February 25, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton.
A funeral service will follow at 3 p.m.
Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton, in the spring.
