HANNIBAL, NY – Wayne E. “Uncle Wayne” Seymour, 67, of Martville, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 18, 2017, at Oswego Hospital.

He was born on April 24, 1950, in Auburn, a son to the late Edward and Annabelle O’Bryan Seymour.
Uncle Wayne spent his life working for New York State Canal System.
He was a gifted musician, a member of Martville United Methodist Church, past Exulted Ruler of the Fulton Elk’s Club and Arch Bastard of the I.O.O.B. Club #3991.
Uncle Wayne was predeceased by three brothers, Bucky, Dennis and Bobby Seymour; and his beloved dog, April Mae.
He is survived by his wife, Paula; four children, Troy (Rhonda) Seymour of Nevada, Todd (Colleen) Seymour of Martville, Tonya (Keith) Rappleye of Martville and Trevor (Kim Sherman) Seymour of Martville; 11 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Doug Seymour; two sisters, Shelba Green and Diane Devendorf; as well as several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, August 26, at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal, with a service to immediately follow at 3 p.m.
For those wishing, contributions may be made to the Martville United Methodist Church, 13729 Martville Cut Off Road, Martville, New York 13111 in Uncle Wayne’s memory.
