David J. Reynolds

OSWEGO – David J. Reynolds, 80, of Oswego, passed away peacefully on March 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Oswego, David was the son of the late John R. and Clara (Paulik) Reynolds.

David was a graduate of Oswego High School.  He worked for and retired from Nine Mile after many years as an electrical supervisor.

David was a long-time member of the Ancient Order of the Hibernians, Oswego.  He enjoyed the outdoors, was an avid fisherman and hunter, and was fascinated with astrology.  David was a talented handyman with attention to detail, and he volunteered much of his time working on the LT5 at the H. Lee White Maritime Museum.  He also gave back to the Oswego community by playing Santa Claus for various organizations. David loved watching all sports and was a huge Yankees fan.

David was a loving husband and father and a good friend to many.  He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

David is survived by his adoring wife Donna (Buske) Reynolds, his daughter Donna (Mark) Stacavich, sons Jeff (Kim) Reynolds, Kevin Reynolds, and Greg Reynolds, stepdaughters Colleen (Joe) Bagnasco, Kathleen (Rick) Weber, sisters Valerie Hill and Emilie Manning, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers Thomas, Michael, and Patrick Reynolds, and his sister Arlene Blum.

In following David’s wishes there will be no services.  Arrangements are under the caring guidance of Nelson Funeral Home.
