Anna Mae Rupert, 75

OSWEGO, NY – Anna Mae Rupert, 75, a resident of County Route 1 in the town of Scriba, passed away Monday morning December 14, 2015, at her home.

Anna was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late Albert J. and Viola M. (Burdick) Roach.

She was a life resident of the area.

She was a graduate of Oswego Catholic High School.

Anna was a devout Catholic, a communicant of St. Mary’s Church, and a former communicant of St. John’s Church.

She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Ross T. Rupert of Scriba; four sons, Ross A. (Leticia) Rupert of New Castle, Delaware, Thomas (Mary Katie) Rupert of Oswego, Daniel (Shannon) Rupert of Fulton and Andrew (Jennifer) Rupert of Oswego; three brothers, Richard (Ann) Roach of Hannibal, David Roach of Wyoming and Walter (Beverly) Roach of Granby; nine grandchildren, Isabella, Gabriel, Nicholas, Leanna, Stefan, Thomas A., Lillian, Evan and Allison; and several nieces and nephews including Linda, Christine, Eileen, Richard, Michael, Colleen, Tammy and Scott.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, in St. Mary’s Church.

Burial will be in Rural Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held Friday, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.

  1. Ross and Family, I’m so sorry for your loss. She was such a wonderful woman and I’m so glad I had the chance to meet her. She had a funny sense of humor and alot of wisdom and great advice. May she fly high with the angels and look over you all and keep you safe. You will always be missed Anna.

  3. Dear Ross and family- Our lives are never long enough and time goes quickly. With us, being approximately the same age we all can only cherish the memories that are shared together. Hold on to them tightly and they will see you thru and help with the sorrow friends and family share together. I share these thoughts with you as some one who has experienced similar circumstances.
