Carol E. Buske, 93

OSWEGO, NY – Carol E. Buske, 93, a resident of Oswego, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday January 10, 2016, at Morningstar Nursing Home.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Edward and Enola (Smith) Buske.

He was an Army World War II veteran from 1942-1946, having served overseas.

He worked as a plumber for Edward H. Buske Plumbing and Heating.

He also worked for the Plumbers and Steamfitters Local #73.

He loved woodworking and spending time with his family.

Surviving are a daughter, Elene (Earl) Miner of Oswego Town; four sons, Larry (Debbie) Buske of Cleveland, Tenn., Alan (Pam) Buske of Minetto, Bruce Buske of Oswego Town and John Buske of Oswego Town; a sister, Linda Buske of Oswego; 15 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his wife, Lucille (Hammond) Buske; and several brothers and sisters.
