OSWEGO, NY – Carolyn J. Auyer, 73, of Oswego, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2012, at St. Joseph’s Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 29, 1939, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Velma Bond.
She was a graduate of Oswego High School.
Carolyn cherished the time she could spend with family and her close circle of friends.
She especially enjoyed cooking and entertaining, camping, harborfest and attending the sporting events and activities of her beloved grandchildren.
They will especially miss her calling down from the stands in all types of weather and her presence at numerous dance recitals and school events.
Carolyn was predeceased by her parents and beloved husband, Richard, in 1986.
She is survived by her sons, Craig (Kathy) Auyer, Kenneth (Donna) Auyer of Oswego, Michael (Jennifer) Auyer of Nashua, N.H., and Jeffery (Kerri Carroll) of Cato; a daughter, Julie (James) Bell of Oswego; one sister, Virginia (Al) Dedyck of Oswego; and her beloved grandchildren, Stephanie and Stephen Auyer, Brandon and Bridgette Auyer, Madison, Makayla and Marissa Bell, Grace Auyer, Heather Boccanfuso and Heidi Fritsche; she also leaves behind several special children in her life and many other people who will cherish memories of their time together.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 3-7 p.m. Wednesday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego, NY.
