Christine L. Palmer, 66

OSWEGO – Christine L. Palmer, 66, a resident of Scriba, passed away Wednesday February 18, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Norma (Herman) Bauer.

She worked as a nurse for Dr. Mather and Dr. Freund and also at Oswego Hospital.

Chris was devoted to her family.

She loved the peace and tranquility of her home.

She also liked spending time at her camp in Tupper Lake.

She enjoyed shopping and going to lunch with her friends.

Surviving are her husband, William Palmer; two sons, William Joseph Palmer of Tampa, Fla.; Evan Michael Palmer of Austin, Texas; a brother, David Bauer and Lee Ann Walker of Oswego; a sister, Kim (John) Germain of Oswego; two grandchildren, Sierra Palmer and Meadow Palmer; and her golden retriever companion, Jessie.

In life she surrounded herself with angels and now she is with them.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter’s Church.

Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held 3-7 p.m. Friday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.
