PHOENIX, NY – Darren Michael Seymour, 50, of Pennellville, NY, passed away on Tuesday October 27, 2015.

He was born in Fulton, NY, to his mother, Agnes (Mason) Fonda and his late father, Robert B. Seymour on April 13, 1965.

He was a graduate of Hannibal Central Schools, where he played varsity football in his senior year.

Before that, he attended and played varsity football for C. W. Baker High, Baldwinsville.

A successful businessman, Darren was the owner/operator of a commercial truck wash, Express Wash in Liverpool.

He had been the owner/operator of Viper Night Club, in Fort Myers, Fla.

Darren was a man of pride and always went above and beyond to satisfy his loyal customer base.

He was an avid sportsman.

He was predeceased by his father, Robert B. Seymour, on April 10, 2007; and his brother, Paul Fonda Jr.

Surviving are his wife, Judie L. (Hanlon) Seymour; his sons, Nick and Alec Seymour; his mother, Agnes (Mason) Fonda; his siblings, Roxanne (Tipper) Vann, Donna (Vic) Ruiz, Dan (Lisa) Seymour, Jeff (Chris) Seymour, Shawn Seymour, Misty Seymour and Bobby Joe Mendenhall; many nieces, nephews, cousins;  grand-nieces and grand-nephews; as well as his step-mother, Barbara Seymour; and his step-siblings, James Corbett, Kathleen Corbett, and Shelly Benedict.

Calling hours will be held Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. in the Allanson-
Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix, NY.

Services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday in the funeral home, with the Rev. Philip
Brockmyre officiating.

  3. Just so everyone is clear, Chris didn’t write the obituary. It was done at the funeral home by the family- My father (Jeff), Dan, Judy, and Agnes.

  8. OMG Just found out and did not know Darren was sick . My Thoughts and pryers go out to all the family . I will never forget Darrens love for life and how he alway dreamed big . So very Sad , Good man gone so young .

  9. Aggie, I am so sorry. I didn’t know Darren well, but he came to karaoke at the Phoenix American Legion a few times with his mom. He was always very friendly, and polite to me. RIP friend. If I can call you friend. Paula
