David L. Warrington, 69

OSWEGO, NY – David L. Warrington, 69, of Oswego, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2016, in Oswego Hospital.

He was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Lawrence Elliott and Ethel Johnson Warrington.

Mr. Warrington had been employed for many years at Papertronics and later retired from the Oswego City School District where he was a custodian at Oswego High School.

He was a life member of the Oswego Elks Lodge, a member Oswego Moose Lodge and a social member at the VFW 5885 Quattrini-Dehm Post.

He is survived by two brothers Charles (Patricia) Warrington of Groton, Conn., and Thomas Warrington of Chattanooga, Tenn.; three nieces, Heidi Rivera, Jennifer Tice and Rebecca Pahl; two nephews, Charles Warrington Jr. and Thomas Warrington Jr.; several great-nieces and great-nephews.

Funeral services will be held Saturday 7 p.m. at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.

Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m., at the funeral home prior to the service.

Spring burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.

  1. DAVE WAS A REAL NICE GUY. WE MET HIM THRU A FRIEND , WHO WAS DAVES GOOD FRIEND,JAY. HE WOOD COME WITH JAY EVERY YEAR FOR WALLEYE TOURNAMENT AT THE LAKE. HE WAS A BIT BOISTEROUS, BUT ALWAYS REPECTED THE COMP. HE WAS WITH. MY HUSBAND AND I WILL MISS HIM VERY MUCH, UNTILL WE SEE HIM AGAIN. CARL AND SUE
