OSWEGO, NY – Dorothy P. Demm, 87, a resident of Johnson Road, Oswego, passed away Tuesday May 14, 2013, at the Manor at Seneca Hill.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late George and Agnes (LaManche) Perry.
She worked at SUNY Oswego in accounts payable for 20 years, retiring in 1989.
Dorothy enjoyed her world travels.
She was a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Minetto, where she was a member of the Altar Society and was a Eucharist Minister.
Surviving are her two daughters, Judy Tonkin of Beacon, NY and Patty Monroe of Oswego; three grandchildren, Christine Tonkin, James Monroe and Cory Monroe; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Demm, in 2008.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church.
Burial will follow at Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
