OSWEGO, NY – Douglas A. DeWolfe, a resident of Oswego, passed away Tuesday June 9, 2015, at Oswego Hospital.
Mr. DeWolfe was the son of Clarence and Mary DeWolfe.
He retired from the Carrier Corporation in 1985.
He is survived by his wife, Susanne Barnard DeWolfe; and five of six of his children, Paul, Ralph, Jeffrey (deceased), Dale, Walter and Sally (Gibbs).
Memorial service will held at 11 a.m. June 20 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s witnesses, at the intersection of State Route 48 and County Route 85, Volney.
Calling hours will be held from 10-11 a.m., prior to the service, at the Kingdom Hall.

We keep all the family in our thoughts and prayers. We will miss Dougs warm hugs and fondly remember being out in service when the sesame seeds went flying down the dash but Doug and Susanne just said “Oh my”. We have been truly blessed to have such a caring, humble man in our life and watching the unbreakable bond of love between two true soul mates has left a permanent handprint on our hearts. We eagerly await the time we will feel that warm hug again.
We know that Jehovah will rember Duge in his book of life and will miss him till then…
