Elmer ‘Fudd’ Bartlett, 84

FULTON, NY – Elmer “Fudd” Bartlett, 84, of Hannibal, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening December 13, 2016, at Oswego Hospital.

Elmer was born in Fulton and resided in Hannibal for the past 39 years.

He was a mechanic at Tretch’s Service Station in Fulton for 15 years and retired from Sealright, where he worked for several years.

Fudd loved country music, playing his guitar and building birdhouses.

He was predeceased by a daughter, Joanne; four brothers, Fred, Richard, Nelson and Ronald; and one sister, Marge Calkins.

Elmer is survived by his wife of 39 years, Alice Bartlett of Hannibal; his children, Christine (Jerry) Chomiak of North Carolina, Sherry Stanek of Syracuse, Gary (Sherry) Bartlett of Fulton, Elmer (Debbie) Bartlett of North Carolina, Larry Bartlett of Fulton, Kathy Hawkins of Hannibal, Ellen (Scott) Bowen of Hannibal, Pam (Ray Forsythe) Austin of Hannibal and Nelson (Penny) Bartlett of Martville; his sister, Shirley Shumaker of Fulton; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at a later date.
