PHOENIX, NY – Erma J. Payne, 92, of Phoenix, NY, (Hinmansville), passed away on Sunday August 2, 2015, at Michaud Health Services, Fulton, where she had been a resident for a short time.
She was born in the town of Granby to her late parents, Eva (Crocker) Maddock and George Maddock on November 1, 1922.
Erma was a former member of the Phoenix United Methodist Church.
She was employed by the Sealright Corp., Fulton, and Syrocco Co., Van Buren.
Erma was predeceased by her husband, Floyd; her four sisters; and a brother.
Surviving are her two sons, Dennis Payne and Larry (Linda) Payne all of Phoenix; four grandchildren, Jamey, Jodie, Tracy and Tricia; nine great-grandchildren, Ashley, Courtney, Jerry, Anthony, Lyndsey, Carly, Joshua, Sarah and Angeleena; one great-grandson, Damian; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services only will be held on Friday August 7, at 11 a.m. in Chase Cemetery, 9450 State Route 48, Phoenix.
The Rev. Jeff Hodge will be officiating.
