Faye L. Wallace, 73

OSWEGO, NY – Faye L. Wallace, 73, of Fulton, died Tuesday evening August 19, 2014, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Mrs. Wallace was born in Oswego and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Viola McMahon Bateman.

She was the wife of Ronald J. Wallace, who died in 2005.

Mrs. Wallace was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Richard) Hall of Morristown, Tenn., and Denise (Dennis) Rupert of Fulton; one son, Ronald J. (Kim) Wallace Jr. of Morristown, Tenn.; three brothers, Maurice Bateman of Cicero, Richard (Isabel) Bateman of Fulton and Howard Bateman of South Carolina; three sisters, Marlene Woodmancy, Gail Jodway and Leah “Peggy” Wheeler all of Fulton;  seven grandchildren, Chad Buske, Richard Hall III, Greg Hall, Dennis Rupert Jr., Danielle Rupert, Logan Wallace and Haley Wallace; two great-grandchildren, Danny Buske and Kaleb Rupert.

She was predeceased by one sister, Sharon Bateman.

Faye will be forever missed by her family.

Mrs. Wallace’s family would like to thank the caregivers at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego Hospital and St. Joseph’s Hospital for the exceptional care that was provided to Faye.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

  1. Dawn and I are so sorry to learn of Faye’s passing. She and Ron were wonderful friends of ours for many years when we lived in Fulton and we will never forget them. Our most sincere condolences to their family and loved ones. RIP Faye.
