OSWEGO, NY – Fernande “Fern” Bouffard, 86, a resident of Scriba, passed away Friday April 25, 2014, at St. Luke Health Services.
Born in St. Theophile, Quebec, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Clara (Paquette) Gauthier.
Fern loved oil painting, knitting, playing cards and working in the yard and planting flowers.
Surviving are her husband, Lucien Bouffard; daughters, Gae Bouffard and Terri Bouffard; son, Michel (Cindy) Bouffard; three sisters, Juliette (Robert) Talon, Yvonne Plante and twin sister Rollande Lefebvre; seven grandchildren, Claire (Kyle) Torrice, Angelie (Ted) Elliott, Christine (Blake) Howell, Marianne (Steve) Ferry, Jaime Bouffard, Ariel Bouffard and Anthony Bouffard; nine great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by five brothers and three sisters.
Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at the Oswego Alliance Church, Thompson Road, Oswego.
