OSWEGO, NY – Gary G. Bunce, 55, a resident of Middle Road, Oswego, passed away Friday May 17, 2013, at Oswego Hospital.
He was born in Herkimer and was the son of Janet Miller Erskine and the late Glenn Bunce.
He was a US Air Force veteran.
Mr. Bunce had lived in the Oswego area since 1976.
He had been employed at Rapid Response Monitoring the last 13 years.
Gary enjoyed sports and was an all-star in basketball and football at his high school at West Canada Valley in Newport, NY, where he graduated in 1976.
Gary had a heart of gold, and went to be with the Lord Jesus with his brother, Scott Bunce.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his stepfather, Leslie Erskine of Oswego; four brothers, Randall (Becky) Bunce, of Scranton, Pa., Timothy Bunce and Daniel Bunce both of Oswego and Larry (Andrea) Erskine of Rochester; one sister, Lisa (Christopher) Meeker of Oswego; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at the convenience to the family.
