OSWEGO, NY – Gary O. Mulcahey, 60, a resident of Oswego, passed away Monday morning July 11, 2016.
Gary was born in Oswego and was the son of the late Charles and Marie Fetterly Mulcahey.
Mr. Mulcahey was a veteran of the US Navy.
He had been employed for many years as a boilermaker and was a member of the International Brotherhood of Boilermaker Local 175-5.
His work took him throughout the United States.
He retired in 2010.
He is survived by his wife, Cindy Crouch Mulcahey of Oswego; one daughter, Jessica (Raymond Woolson) Crouch of Oswego; two sons, Mathew C. (Anna) Mulcahey and Brian (Anna Phelps) Cooley both of Oswego; four brothers, David (Debbie) Mulcahey, Michael (Darcy Phillips) Mulcahey, Steven (Elise Williams) Mulcahey and Randy Mulcahey all of Oswego, four grandchildren, Joseph Mulcahey, Trenton Mulcahey, Diana Mulcahey and Timothy Woolson; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by one sister, Deborah Mulcahey; two brothers, Charles Mulcahey and Ricky Mulcahey.
Funeral services will be held 9 a.m. Friday from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 9:30 a.m. in St. Paul’s Church.
Calling hours will be conducted Thursday 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be private at the convenience of the family in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
