Jacquelyn L. Colarusso, 51

Jacquelyn L. Colarusso, 51, a resident of Scriba passed away on March 31, 2011 surrounded by her loving family and friends at home.

Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of Jack Thompson of Oswego and Carolyn Holmes (Roger Wallace) of Oswego.

Jacquelyn was employed at SUNY Oswego.

She enjoyed riding motorcycles with the AzzDogs, boating, cooking, gardening and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving are her two daughters, Jamie White of Inlet, NY and Kristy Thuet of Oswego; sister, Karolyn “Candy” (Pete) McDougall of Scriba; one brother John (Kim) Thompson of Scriba; three grandchildren, Alexis Heath, Tyler Beck, and Grace Heath; aunts, Ann Smegelsky, Rita (Bob) McCormick, Theresa (Mark) Thaser, Patricia Whittier of Oswego and Elizabeth Branshaw of Oswego; uncles, James (Pam) Thompson, Dave (Carolyn) Thompson, Norman (Marlene) Holmes of Hannibal; Edward (Hazel) Holmes of Oswego; Steven (Debbie) Holmes of Fla; Robert (Wendy) Holmes of PA.

Funeral Services and burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Church and in Rural Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 2 – 6p.m., Sunday, April 3, 2011 at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 West Albany St. Oswego.

  1. Jackie you were a truly wonderful person. You will be missed by all. Thoughts and prayers to the family of Jackie during this time of grief. May GOD Bless you all and help you get through this time. I wish I could be there for you all, but its not possible right now, know i will be there in my heart and I am thinking of you all. R.I.P.
