OSWEGO, NY – John J. Allison, 76, a resident of Liberty Street, Oswego, passed away Saturday December 15, 2012, at Oswego Hospital.
Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Robert and Margaret (Dwyer) Allison.
John worked as a self-employed handyman, doing yard work and snow removal for several families.
He enjoyed watching old movies.
He is survived by his brother, Robert F. Allison of Oswego; his sister, Theresa Allison of Oswego; several nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers, Thomas and James Allison; and sisters, Marguerite Vetter and Mary Menard.
There are no calling hours.
A funeral mass will be held 10 a.m. Friday at St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Paul’s Cemetery.
