OSWEGO, NY – John “Jack” A. Reynolds, 80, a resident of Oswego, passed away Thursday August 20, 2015, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of the late Arthur and Frieda (Paulik) Reynolds.

Jack was a U.S. Air Force veteran, serving during the Korean War from 1954-1958.

He worked for GE for 21 years, retiring in 1981.

He was an avid Red Sox fan and enjoyed bowling and playing softball as a pitcher.

Surviving are his wife, Barbara (Phillips) Reynolds; three daughters, Debbie (Michael) Lavner of Oswego, Karen (James) Metcalf of Oswego and Mary (Heath) Winkler of Cazenovia; two sons, Daniel (Patricia) Reynolds of Brewerton and John “Jack” (Tracey) Reynolds of Oswego; one brother, James (Carol) Reynolds of Rochester; two sisters, June DeLapp of Webster and Sharon (William) Sincavage of Oswego; sister-in-law, Gloria Reynolds and brother-in-law, Joe Quinn; 14 grandchildren, Gregory, Ronald, John and James Reynolds, Morgan, Dylan and Ryan Lavner, Katie, Jake and Mariah Metcalf, Annie, Sarah and Jack Reynolds, and Christian Winkler.

Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Ronald Reynolds; two sisters, Mary Parker and Carol Ann Quinn; and two brothers-in-law, Don DeLapp and Micheal Parker.

Services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 25, at St. Mary’s Church.

Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Monday, at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
