John M. Pauldine

John M. Pauldine, 80, of Liverpool, passed away Thursday.

He was born in Oswego. John retired in 1989 after 35 years as an Industrial Arts teacher for the Liverpool Central School District. He was a navy veteran of the Korean War.

Surviving are his wife of 54 years Jane (Richardson) Pauldine, son, Timothy John (Cindy) Pauldine of Oswego, sister, Florine (Francis) DeSantis, brother, Michael (Jeanette) Pauldine both of Oswego, many nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. today, Friday October 1, 2010 at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Rt. 31 Baldwinsville. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday October 2, 2010 at the funeral home with burial to follow in Riverside Cemetery, Oswego.

  1. John was a great man and neighbor. He was always willing to do anything for you even if he didn’t know you that well. I remember being a kid fishing off his dock and catching my first Northern Pike. I didn’t know how to take it off the hook and John being the great guy he was, came down and showed me how to do it. I will miss him so much every time I drive past his camp to get to mine. I am very sorry to the Pauldine family for their loss.
