June A. King, 67, a resident of Co Rt. 53, Scriba, passed away, Tuesday, June 15th, 2010 at home.

Born in Fulton, she was the daughter of the late William and Ella Mae (Hall) Davis.

June worked for Cambridge Filter in Syracuse and then for Nestles in Fulton for 20 years retiring in 1986.

After retirement she worked activities at St. Luke Health Services and operated an antique business.

She loved to spend time with her family and grandchildren.

Surviving are a daughter, Melissa (Patrick) Peel of Oswego; three sons, Craig (Rebecca) King of Canisteo, NY; Barry (Debbie) King of Fulton; Bill (Leita) King of Plattsburgh; two brothers, John (Phyllis) Davis of Florida; Robert (Kathy) Davis of Alabama; ten grandchildren; one great-grandchild; several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband, Conley M. King in 2007.

Funeral Services will be held 10a.m., Saturday at the Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Scriba.

Calling hours will be held 4-7p.m. Friday at the funeral home, 11 West Albany St Oswego.

    So sorry for the loss of your beloved June, she’s a wonderful lady. I got to meet June at the Regional Oncology Center on Tues when she took her chemo. I volunteer there on tues & we became friends & we shared stories about our families. June always had a smile & I will truly miss her.

    We have known June for many years. I didn’t see her alot, but we would just take up where we left off on family and friends. She always had that sweet smile and was a real lady. We will miss her. Our thoughts and prayers go out to your family.
