OSWEGO, NY – Kathryn “Katie” Schneider, 85, of Oswego, passed away Saturday morning May 25, 2013, at St. Luke Health Services, Inc.
She was born in Redfield and was the daughter of the late Rudolph and Caroline Fischer Schneider.
Miss Schneider was a graduate of Crouse Irving School of Nursing, Class of 1948, and had been employed for many years at Oswego Hospital as a Registered Nurse.
She was a communicant of St. Mary’s Church.
Miss Schneider is survived by one sister, Margaret S. Eron of Camillus; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by four brothers, Rudolph Schneider, Edwin Schneider, Ferd Schneider and John Schneider; and two sisters, Helen VonHoltz and Elsie Schneider.
Funeral services will be Wednesday 8:30 a.m. from the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home and at 9 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tuesday 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
