Lucien A. Bouffard, 86

OSWEGO, NY – Lucien A. Bouffard, 86, of Oswego, passed away Saturday February 7, 2015, at Oswego Hospital.

Born in St. Denis De Brompton, Quebec, Canada, he was the son of the late Albert and MarieAnge LaMontagne.

He worked as a pipefitter for Nine Mile Point for 20 years retiring in 1991.

He was a member of the Local 73 Pipefitters Union.

He enjoyed golfing, bowling, playing cards and crossword puzzles.

Surviving are two daughters, Gae Bouffard and Terri Bouffard; a son, Michael (Cindy) Bouffard; two brothers, Marcel (Yolande) Bouffard and Andre (Claudette) Bouffard; two sisters, Albertine Dumouchel and Lucille Bougie; seven grandchildren, Claire (Kyle) Torrice, Angelie (Ted) Elliott, Christine (Blake) Howell, Marianne (Steve) Ferry, Jaime Bouffard, Ariel Bouffard and Anthony Bouffard; ten grandchildren; many niece and nephews.

He was predeceased by his wife, Fernande (Gauthier) Bouffard; three brothers; and one sister.

Memorial services will be held 3 p.m. March 14 at the Oswego Alliance Church, Thompson Road, Oswego.

  1. Gae: Sorry to hear about your dad. Hope you have a stockpile of wonderful memories to carry you through. 88 years is a wonderful genetic gift he gave you and Terry (I never met your brother, but him, too). Hug each other and …remember.
