OSWEGO, NY – Maysel H. Coe, 90, a resident of Fulton, passed away Friday September 28, 2012.
Born in North Volney, he was the son of the late Harold and Ruth (Stevens) Coe.
Maysel was a U.S. Army veteran and served during World War II in the European Theater.
He was a recipient of the Purple Heart and the Bronze Star.
He was a machinist for Sealright in Fulton.
He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, woodworking, golfing, bowling and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.
He was a former member of the Fulton and Mexico VFW.
Surviving are his wife, Evelyn (Noyes) Coe; daughter, Cheryl Deloff of Mexico; two sons, Lester (Rita) Coe of Scriba and Gary (Donna) Coe of Cicero; one brother, Edward (Kay) Coe of Fulton; five sisters, Mae Smith of Fulton, Janice Burton of Vermillion, Dale (Joseph) Warner of Palermo, Maryanne (Wayne) Hanley of Richland and Shelia Bickford of Vermillion; seven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Mahlon Coe; and his sister, Barbara Tulik.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
