Chittenango, NY – Mildred D. Recor, 88, of Chittenango, passed away Tuesday evening August 28, 2012, at her home, with family by her side.
Born in Mexico, NY, Mildred was a resident of Chittenango for 62 years.
She graduated from Mexico High School.
Mildred was a home care provider for many years.
She was a communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Chittenango and a former member of the Altar and Rosary Society.
She was predeceased by her husband, Leland; a daughter, Margaret; and her brother, Floyd Jones.
Surviving are her daughters, Kay Brownell of Canastota, Elizabeth Custer of Chittenango and Cecile “CiCi” Behymer of Cincinnati, Ohio; her sister, Iona “Sandy” Yablonski of Mexico; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews, including Steve Yablonski of Oswego.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Friday in St. Patrick’s Church, Chittenango.
Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s Cemetery.
There are no calling hours.
