Paula H. Solazzo

OSWEGO, NY – Paula H. Solazzo, 74, a resident of Liberty Street in Oswego, died Thursday April 1, 2010, at Oswego Hospital.

Mrs. Solazzo was born in Mottville, NY, the daughter of the late Paul and Lillian (Berg) O’Gorman.

She was a life resident.

She was the wife of the late Dominick Solazzo, who died in 1996.

Mrs. Solazzo had been employed, for 32 years, with the JC Penney Store in Oswego.

She is survived by two daughters, Terri (Mark) of Montreal, Canada, and Mary Jo of Oswego; a son, Jon of Oswego; two brothers, DeForest O’Gorman of Phoenix and Marvin O’Gorman of Tennessee; a sister, Gladys Hardter of Cortland; six  grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.

Burial will be in Peck’s Cemetery.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home, 112 E. Second St., Oswego.

    We are so sorry for your loss. She was a special gal, and a good friend for many years. She will certainly be missed by everyone. We will also miss her at JC Pennys–she certainly was a hard worker . Give our love to everyone for us.
