Robert D. Weeden, 95, of Leesburg, Fla., was born May 30, 1916, in Williamson, NY, and died Thursday, February 23, 2012.
He moved to Leesburg from New Haven, NY in 2000.
He was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church of Oswego, NY.
He was retired from the sales office with Huhtamaki Corporation of Fulton, NY, and was a veteran of the US Army during World War II.
He enjoyed horseback riding.
He is survived by his wife, Jane M. Weeden of Leesburg, Fla.; son, Robert F. (Karen) Weeden of Baldwinsville, NY; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his first wife of more than 50 years, Edith Fogg Weeden, who died in 1995.
A memorial service will be held at a later date in New York.
