Robert L. France, 61

OSWEGO, NY – Robert L. France, 61, a resident of Oswego, passed away Monday March 4, 2013, at Crouse Hospital in Syracuse.

Born in Oswego, he was the son of Robert France of Mexico and Lena (France) Quesnell of Oswego.

Robert worked as a recycle technician at Alcan for 12 years and then worked at Crysteel in Fulton for 10 years.

He loved to stop and chat with friends throughout the community.

He was an avid fan of baseball, especially his beloved Yankees, and he loved watching golf on the weekends.

Surviving besides his parents, are his wife, Darlene (Burgin); children, Brandon France, Katie France and Adam Pasiak; stepmother, Ester France; brother, Dick France; sister, Sue Dashnau; stepsisters, Denise France and Darlene France; and grandchildren, Josephine and Genevieve France.

Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.

Burial will be private, in St. Peter’s Cemetery.
