PHOENIX, NY – Robert W. Giddings, 57, of Phoenix, passed away on Thursday May 1, 2014.
He was born in Syracuse, NY, to his late parents, Anna M. (Wening) and Bradley G. Giddings Sr., on Nov. 16, 1956.
He was a graduate of Paul V. Moore High School, Central Square.
Robert was a welder/metal fabricator for Schneider Brothers Corporation in North Syracuse.
He was predeceased by his wife, Cindy Marie (Ashby) Giddings on Nov. 1, 2004; and his daughter,
Amanda Marie Giddings on Feb. 16, 1988.
Surviving are his daughter, Heather M. Giddings; four brothers, Bradley G. Giddings Jr., Michael
Giddings, James Giddings and Mark Giddings; two sisters, Susan Brown and Anne Marie
McNamara; aunts and uncles; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
A funeral service to follow at 7 p.m. with the Rev. Terry Millbyer officiating.
Burial will be the next day, Thursday, at 10 a.m., in Riverview Cemetery, 70 Tappan St., Baldwinsville, NY.
