PHOENIX, NY – Robert Wilkinson, 85, of Pennellville, peacefully left this world on Good Friday, March 25, 2016, and is now reunited with his wife, Kathleen, and their many dogs.
He was a graduate of North Syracuse and served in Korea.
Bob retired from Masterpol Construction and was a member of the Collie Club of CNY and Collie Club of America.
He was predeceased by his wife, Kathleen, in 1995; and eight siblings: Eudora and Barbara Doughty, John, Charles and William Wilkinson, Beverly Moreth, Lois Choroser and Sherry Sullivan.
He is survived by his four children: Robert Wilkinson, Stuart (Clarice) Wilkinson, Karleen (Duane) Preske and Charlene Wilkinson; six grandchildren; two sisters, Marilyn Dunbar and Georgia Larner; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob loved his family and his dogs.
He and his sense of humor will be sorely missed.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4 – 7 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home, 431 Main St., Phoenix.
The funeral service will be the next day, Wednesday, at 9:30 a.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. Philip Brockmyre officiating.
Burial will follow in Pennellville Cemetery, County Route 54, Pennellville, with military honors.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to: Pet Smart Charities or Hospice of CNY.
