Sally Ann White, 73

PHOENIX, NY – Sally Ann White, 73, of Spring St., Phoenix, NY, passed away on Monday April 2, 2012.

She was born in the Town of Lysander, on July 17, 1938, to her late parents, Melvina (Mills) and Earl L. Haskins.

Sally was a homemaker, and a foster parent for many years.

She was a parishioner of St. Stephen’s Church, Phoenix; a former fresh air fund committee chairwoman; an avid bingo and bowler, former member of the Tuesday Night Strikers; talented at various crafts, donating her time and proceeds to charitable organizations.

Predeceased by her sister, Margaret L. Race, in 1999.

Surviving are her loving husband of 53 years, Robert James White; two sons, Robert J. (Debra) White of Warsaw, Ind. and Kevin M. White (Kathy Whaley) of Fulton; one sister, Doris Calkins of Pine Hill, NC; five grandchildren; one great-grand daughter; several nieces, nephews, cousins.

Services are on April 30 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Stephen’s Church , 469
Main St., Phoenix, NY, with the Rev. Philip Brochmyre officiating.

There are no calling hours.
