OSWEGO, NY – Shirley L. Diaz, 61, of Scriba, died on Monday August 29, 2016.
Born in Oswego, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Mildred (Barker) Slaver.
She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and trips to the casino.
She also enjoyed going to Rudy’s, shopping and spending time with her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Tina Diaz and Shirley Colon; three sons, Andre Diaz, Angel Colon and Francisco Colon; two brothers, Frank and Paul Slaver; two sisters, Mary Ann Owens and Rosie Janes; her boyfriend, Verdell Oliver; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday at the Nelson Funeral Home.
Burial will follow at the Oswego Town Rural Cemetery.
Calling hours will be held 9-11 a.m. Thursday, prior to the service, at the funeral home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
