OSWEGO, NY – Shirley T. Winterhalt, 80, of Oswego, passed away at University Hospital, Syracuse, on Saturday April 13, 2013.
Mrs. Winterhalt was born in Oswego, the daughter of the late George and Georgianna (Day) LeRoy.
She was devoted to and beloved by her family. Her warms hugs will stay with them forever.
She is survived by her husband, James Winterhalt; six children – Terry (Stanley) Falise, James (Paula) Perry, Jill Winterhalt, Mary (Jeffrey) Gordon, Paul (Jean) Perry and Lori (John) Hunt; 13 grandchildren – Michelle, Jamie, Michael, Brian, Katie, Steven, Joshua, Ryan, Erica, Samantha, Lauren, Raymond and Tess; great-grandson, Graham; three sisters – Maryann (Joseph) Ross, Georgianna (John) Carney and Norma (Elbert) Fairly; and sister-in-law, Diane LeRoy.
Mrs. Winterhalt was predeceased by her grandson, James; and brother, George LeRoy.
Calling hours will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday at Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday at St Mary’s Church, 103 W. Seventh St., Oswego.
