Thomas A. Sorrendino, 62

OSWEGO, NY – Thomas A. Sorrendino, 62, of Scriba, passed away Monday September 14, 2015, at Strong Memorial Hospital, Rochester.

Born in Syracuse, NY, he was the son of the late Carl and Mary (Priola) Sorrendino.

He graduated Syracuse schools and attended O.C.C.

Tom worked with the Syracuse Environment Science and Forestry and later for Upstate Hospital and retired from SUNY Oswego as a maintenance supervisor.

He was an avid SU fan, enjoyed music and loved playing golf.

He received a hole-in-one at Southwinds in Florida.

He is survived by his life partner, Laurie Seguin; a son, Jason (Deirdre) Seguin of Oswego; a brother, Alfred (Linda) Sorrendino of Manlius; a niece Abbie Sorrendino; a nephew David Sorrendino; three grandchildren, Elijah, Jace and Trey.

Calling hours will be held 2-5 p.m. Sunday at the Nelson Funeral Home, 11 W. Albany St., Oswego.

Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, at Riverside Cemetery, 4024 County Route 57, Oswego.

  1. Tom was a Great Guy…will miss Him at Price Chopper…Very Sorry Laurie..He is now in the Arms of the Angels…he is safe.
