OSWEGO, NY – Thomas E. Opanhoske, 40, of Oswego, passed away early Monday morning April 25, 2016, in Upstate Medical University, Syracuse.
Thomas was born in the Albany area and grew up in Oswego.
He attended local schools and Unity College in Maine studying forestry management.
Thomas truly loved the outdoors.
He was the son of Ronald and Gail Opanhoske of Oswego.
Prior to his illness he had been employed as a Ranger at Camp Farnsworth in Thetford Vermont and at the Adirondack Mountain Club in Lake Placid NY.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by one brother, Christopher (Julie) Opanhoske; nieces and a nephew of Elbridge NY.
Service will be private at the convenience of the family.
There are no calling hours.
Arrangements are by Dain-Cullinan Funeral Home.
