Victor E. Bell, 59

PHOENIX, NY – Victor  E. Bell, 59, of Van Buren, (Syracuse), passed away on Sunday October 14, 2012.

He was born in Fulton, NY, to his late parents, Marion (Boardman) and Victor E. Bell on December 13, 1952.

He was a graduate of J.C. Birdlebough High School, Class of 1970, Phoenix, NY.

Vic had retired from General Motors Corp., Syracuse.

He was a social member of VFW Post 5540 and American Legion Post 318, both in Phoenix and a member of Liverpool Elks Lodge 2348.

Surviving are his loving wife of 39 years, Sherry L. (Austin) Bell;  his son, Clayton Bell of Pennellville; his daughter, Sarah Bell of Phoenix; one brother, Robert (Alice) Bell of Cicero; one sister, Beverly Jacka of Castle Rock, Colo.; two grandchildren, Darren Fischel and
Carson Bell with whom he shared a special bonding relationship.

Victor was a one of a kind person.

He loved life and will be missed by all who knew him.

Services will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. in the Allanson-Glanville-Tappan Funeral Home,  Phoenix, with the Rev. Jeffrey D. Knox officiating.

Burial will be in Pennellville Cemetery, Schroeppel.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday from 4 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home, 431 Main St.

  2. Sherry, we are so sad to hear about Vic. Everybody thought the world of him and he will never be forgotten ! We so lucked out to have spent time with you guys at the reunion.
