Benjamin Jimenez Jr., 23

FULTON, NY – Benjamin Jimenez Jr., 23, of Fulton, died Sunday October 27, 2013, at University Hospital, Syracuse, after suffering injuries in an accident.

He was born in Puerto Rico and he has been a resident of Fulton since 2002.

Benjamin graduated from Hannibal High School, Hannibal, NY.

He was past employed with Wal-Mart, Fulton.

Currently, he was continuing his education at Cayuga Community College, Fulton.

Benjamin was a competitor with the UFC.

He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Israel Jimenez in 2011; and cousin, Gabriel Jimenez, in 2013.

Benjamin is survived by his parents, Benjamin and Esmeralda (Feliciano) Jimenez Sr.; maternal grandparents: Hignio Feliciano and Josefina Acevedo of Fulton; paternal grandmother: Blanca Ramos of Puerto Rico; two brothers: Michael Jimenez and Joshua (Alyssa DeMauro) Jimenez both of Fulton; two half-sisters: Elizabeth and Von Marie Gonzalez both of New Jersey; three nephews; one niece; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with Rev. Carmen Gonzalez officiating.

Burial will be held in Mount Adnah Cemetery, Fulton.

  2. Ben was one of the first students I ever had 1:1 experience with as a student teacher back in the late 90’s. His memory never left me, he was a one-of-a-kind kid. May God’s presence give his family a lasting peace.

  4. Met ben when i worked at walmart with him and we became friends.this was devastating to find out,he was the best friend anyone could ask for because he was so caring. Rip ben
