OSWEGO, NY – Calvin O. Stevens, 73, of Oswego, died Tuesday October 11, 2016, at St. Luke Health Services, Oswego.
Mr. Stevens was born in Sterling, the son of the late Cecil and Edna (Buel) Stevens.
Mr. Stevens was a resident of Oswego County for most of his life.
He retired from Alcan in 1999 after many years of service.
Mr. Stevens served in the United States Army from 1961 until 1964.
He was a former commander of the Hannibal American Legion and a member of the Oswego American Legion.
Mr. Stevens was predeceased by his wife, Shirley L. Stevens, in 2013; and his children, Angela Stevens, in 1974, Calvin Stevens, in 2008, and Elizabeth Wadleigh, in 2014.
Mr. Stevens is survived by his children, Marcia (James) Kray of Oswego, William Daniel Stevens of Rochester and Nathan Stevens of Syracuse; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be Friday, October 14, at 11 a.m. at Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal.
The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar & Scanlon Funeral Home, 147 W. Fourth St., Oswego, NY 13126.
