Catherine A. White, 80

FULTON, NY – Catherine A. White, 80, died peacefully at her son’s home in Ormond Beach, Fla., on Wednesday September 5, 2012, after a long illness.

Mrs. White was born to the late Frederick and Anna (Butler) Clancy in Oswego, NY.

She has been a life resident of Fulton and for the last 10 years she began summering in Fulton and wintering in Florida.

Mrs. White was a past communicant of St. Michael’s Church, Fulton.

She was predeceased by her husband of 49 years, Alfred “Fred” White, in 2001; and her brothers, twins Robert, Jack, Joseph and Francis Clancy.

Mrs. White is survived by her children, Robert White of Florida and Peggy (Will) Navagh of Fulton; sister, Helen Bellamy of Fayetteville, NY; brother, David Clancy of Oneida, NY; two grandchildren, Eric and Lindsay Navagh; sisters-in-law, Margaret Beckwith, Beverly Clancy, Carol Clancy, Mary Latino and Catherine White; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Sugar Funeral Home, with Rev. Moritz Fuchs officiating.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.

Calling hours will be held 4 – 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Sugar Funeral Home, 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
