Chester E. Bogdziewcz Sr., 89

FULTON, NY – Chester E. Bogdziewcz, 89, of Fulton, passed away on Monday December 4, 2017, at the Veteran Administration Hospital, Syracuse, NY, after a long illness.

Mr. Bogdziewcz was born in Fulton, to the late Peter and Stella (Godula) Bogdziewcz.

He remained a lifetime resident of Fulton.

Mr. Bogdziewcz was a United States veteran having served in the Army during the Korean War from 1951-53.

He retired as the service manager with Burritt Chevrolet, Oswego.

Mr. Bogdziewcz was an avid collector, buyer and seller of antiques.

He especially enjoyed collecting and tinkering with clocks.

Mr. Bogdziewcz had many great memories of traveling with his wife, especially to Canada.

He was predeceased by his wife of 47 years, Jean Bogdziewcz, in 2002; two siblings: Jessie Biela and Stanley P. Bogdziewcz.

Mr. Bogdziewcz is survived by his children: Chester (Joyce) Bogdziewcz Jr., of Fulton and Stephanie (Kevin Bossick) Bogdziewcz of California; granddaughter, Mariah (John III) Wallace of Fulton; three great-grandchildren: Ashlyn, John and Justin Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and military honors will be held at the convenience of the family.

The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
