Darrin C. Guernsey Sr., 52

FULTON, NY – Darrin C. Guernsey Sr., 52, of Fulton, passed away unexpectedly Friday March 17, 2017.

He was born in Fulton to the late Clifford and Norma (Lepine) Guernsey.

Mr. Guernsey remained a lifetime resident of Fulton.

He was employed with McGrann Paper, Liverpool, NY, as a tow motor operator.

Mr. Guernsey was an avid outdoorsman.

He enjoyed mowing the lawn, hunting and snowmobiling.

Mr. Guernsey also enjoyed tending to his son and daughter-in-law’s Christmas Tree Farm.

He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Michelle Guernsey of Fulton; their son, Darrin (Rachael) Guernsey Jr., of Fulton; two siblings: Gary (Lisa) Guernsey of Fulton and Debbie (Jim) Wells of Fulton; two grandchildren: Genevieve and Quinn; and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral service.

Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.

  1. We were so sorry to hear of Darren’s passing. He was a valuable employee of Pioneer Warehouse for many years before departing for McGrann Paper. I know that he truly enjoyed hunting and snowmobiling . Our hearts and prayers go out to his family.

  2. So very brokenhearted over this sad news~ Darren was a great guy….a good part of my childhood memories in the neighborhood….I’m shocked to know he is gone. Sending prayers to Michelle and his family…plz know we are thinking of you all. ?
