FULTON, NY – David McConnell, 69, previously of Syracuse, NY, and currently of Oswego, NY, passed away on Monday August 14, 2017, after a short illness at Oswego Hospital, Oswego.
He was born in Syracuse and he had been a resident of Oswego for 14 years.
Mr. McConnell retired after working with New York State for 35 years as a therapist with children living in the Syracuse area.
Mr. McConnell was an avid Boston Red Sox fan.
David was a devoted and loving companion for 12 years to Marlene Baker of Fulton, his son Zachary McConnell of Arizonia, and daughters: Wendy (Tony) Groat of Warners, NY, Cheryl (John) Hall of Florida, and 3 grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at noon Wednesday, August 16, at North Volney Cemetery with Rev. Tammy Nipper officiating.
The Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, has care of the arrangement.
