FULTON, NY – Donald L. Besaw, 92, of Fulton, passed away at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, on Friday August 21, 2015.
He was born in Fulton, to the late George and Ellen (Garno) Besaw.
Mr. Besaw remained a lifetime resident of Fulton.
He was a United States veteran having served in the Marine Corps from 1948-1952.
Mr. Besaw retired from Nestles, Co., Fulton.
He loved to hunt and fish and he was still actively hunting deer and turkey into his 89th year.
Mr. Besaw was predeceased by his first wife, Agnes Besaw, in 1992.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Mary Besaw of Fulton; two sons: Terry L. Besaw of Fulton and Kevin L. Besaw of Oswego; and granddaughter, Michelle Besaw of Oswego.
Graveside services and burial will be held 11:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Cemetery with Rev. Moritz Fuchs officiating.
There will be no calling hours.
