FULTON, NY – Dorothy Burr, 80, of Phoenix, NY, passed away Wednesday July 1, 2015.
She was born in Fulton, to the late Theodore and Nettie (Lamb) Jackson.
Mrs. Burr was a lifetime resident of Phoenix.
She retired from Jim’s Restaurant, Fulton, where she worked as the cook and manager for many years.
Dorothy was an avid bowler and bingo player.
She was predeceased by her husband of 60 years, Richard Burr, in 2012; and her son, Melvin Burr, in 2001.
Dorothy is survived by her sons: James Burr and Raymond (Patty) Burr both of Phoenix; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Burial will be held privately.
