FULTON, NY – Dorothy M. Ukleya, 93, of Hannibal, NY, passed away Saturday March 24, 2018, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego.
She was born in Hannibal to the late George and Corine (Earle) Stock.
She remained a life resident of Hannibal.
Mrs. Ukleya was past employed with Davis’ Orchard, Red Creek Hotel, and the Hannibal American Legion.
She was a founding member of the I.O.B. Club, Martville, NY.
She was also a former member of the Hannibal American Legion Auxiliary and the Red Creek Conservation Club.
Mrs. Ukleya was an avid poker player and had a group meet at her home to play once a week.
She was predeceased by her son, Larry Ukleya; granddaughter, Marcia Ukleya; and siblings: Gloria Reed, Jake Stock and Gordon Stock.
Mrs. Ukleya is survived by her three children: Joan Ukleya of Hannibal, Joseph (Loretta) Ukleya of Hannibal and Ronald (Lorraine) Ukleya of California; daughter-in-law: Margaret Ukleya of Hannibal; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton, with a funeral service following at 6 p.m. officiated by Rev. George DeMass.
Burial will be held in the spring at Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal, NY.

RIP my long time friend
We were sad to hear of Dorothy’s passing, but we know that she lived her life- her way. She will be missed. Our sympathies go out to the family; our thoughts and prayers are with them.
