FULTON, NY – Douglas Kimball, 75, of Fulton, passed away Sunday May 6, 2018, at Oswego Hospital, Oswego, after a brief illness.
He was born in Amsterdam, NY, to the late Hosie Bruce and Erma (Pierce) Kimball.
He was a former longtime resident of Arizona and he had been a resident of Hannibal, NY, for the last six years.
Mr. Kimball was a United States veteran having served in the Navy from 1960-62.
He graduated from Onondaga Community College with an Associate Degree in Criminal Justice.
Mr. Kimball retired from Brown & Root, Ariz., where he had worked as a plumber.
He then owned and operated a handyman business.
Mr. Kimball was predeceased by his 10 siblings.
He is survived by his wife of 6 ½ years, Teresa Kiimball of Hannibal; three step-children: Nancy Johnson of Palermo, NY, Susan Peters of Phoenix, NY, and Skip Converse of Phoenix, NY; nine step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 9:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Trinity Church where a mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Scardella.
Burial will be held in Fairdale Cemetery, Hannibal.
Calling hours will be conducted 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the Sugar Funeral Home, Inc., 224 W. Second St. S., Fulton.
