Francis P. Armelino, 83

OSWEGO, NY – Francis P Armelino, 83, of Granby, died Friday October 16, 2015, at Oswego Hospital.

He was born in Geneva, NY, the son of the late Carmen and Edna (Waldridge) Armelino.

He was a member of the Painter’s Local # 31, Syracuse.

Mr. Armelino served in the United States Army during the Korean War.

He was a member of the VFW # 569, Fulton.

He was an accomplished athlete and he enjoyed bowling, golf, hunting, pool and jarts.

He was a loving husband and father and he especially enjoy all the family camping and boating trips together.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years. Jacqueline (Roberts) Armelino of Granby; their children: Deborah Imeson of Liverpool, Denise (Terry) Erhart of Palermo, Richard (Carol) Armelino of Liverpool, Christine (Douglas) Ware of Colorodo Springs, Anthony (Leanna) Armelino of Baldwinsville, Thomas Armelino of California, Edward (Heather) Armelino of Claifornia; Raymond Armelino of Denver and Becky Zinszer of Clay; his brother, Anthony Parnell of California; brother-in-law, George Roberts and sister-in-law, Beverly (Roberts) Nichols; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

The public is invited to greet the family at the Baldwinsville VFW, Baldwinsville, on Saturday from 3 to 7 p.m.
