Frank Cedrone Sr., 95

FULTON, NY – Frank Cedrone Sr., 95, of Fulton, died Saturday August 27, 2016, in Upstate Hospital, Syracuse.

Mr. Cedrone was born in Frosinone, Italy, the son of the late Francesco and Angelina (Buccilli) Cedrone.

He moved to the United States when he was two years old, living in Massachusetts, Syracuse and later moving to Fulton.

Mr. Cedrone was a self-employed contracting engineer owning Frank Cedrone Inc., Syracuse, NY.

He was a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army 27th Division as a forward observer, during World War II.

Mr. Cedrone was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church, a member of the disabled American Veterans and the American Legion.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years, Lenora Cedrone of Fulton; sons, Frank Cedrone Jr., of Florida and Peter (Angela) Cedrone of Fulton; and grandchildren, Ashlyn Cedrone, Angelo Cedrone, Lenora Cedrone and Peter Cedrone Jr.

Funeral services will be conducted Friday 9:30 a.m. in Holy Trinity Church, Fulton, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. John Canorro.

Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The arrangements are in the care of the Sugar Funeral Home Inc., 224 W. Second. St., Fulton.

  1. Tootsie and family, so sorry for your loss. Frank was a good person and Tom and I used to have a lot of conversations over coffee when they were on their daily. walks.. You very seldom saw them apart . I’m sure she will miss him a lot. Thank God she has Peter and his family to watch over her. My prayers are with you. God bless you.
