FULTON, NY – George B. Lenton, 78, of Fulton, died Monday February 15, 2016, peacefully with his family and friends by his side.
Mr. Lenton was born in Hannibal and had been a resident of Fulton for most of his life.
He was a truck driver for Mayflower, United Van Lines and he retired from Hinderwadel’s after ten years as a truck driver.
Mr. Lenton is survived by his wife of 30 years, Esther Lenton of Fulton; and children, Wayne (Joanne) Lenton of Kentucky, Debbie (Jim) Bassett of West Virginia, Theresa Lenton of Canada and John Ford of Massachusetts; his brothers, David Lenton of Solvay and Carl Lenton of Cato; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Thursday 6 p.m. at the Sugar Funeral Home, Fulton.
Burial will be in the North Syracuse Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Thursday from 4 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home, 224 W. Second. St. S., Fulton.
